May: Cody & JJ's Bday

Topics/Events...> > Events ...> > 2021 ...>
Cody and JJ share a birthday month. We combined their parties into one since much of the participants would be the same.
Prior to COVID our favorite spot with Godfather's Pizza - video games, pizza (and beer for the adults). It was perfect because the room (that they clean up) was free with $100 pizza purchase. We looked around several other venues like Round Table, defy but they were either very cost prohibitive or simply unavailable with our State's ever changing COVID restrictions (it was phase 2 in Pierce County at this time and there were gathering/household limits).

Instead of hosting a party at home we decided to rent out a movie theater. If you have the opportunity to do so, I highly recommended it!
The kids had a blast sitting in their own section and the adults were able to visit, pig out out with hot dogs and popcorn, or relax with the movie.

We saw "Tom & Jerry." Most of the kids had already seen it but they enjoyed watching it on the big screen, but to be honest they spent most of their time running around, hiding, playing games with the movie as a back drop. We had to do no entertaining and there was almost no cleanup (they ate surprisingly little)!

We went to a nearby park to open presents, and then to a local restaurant (adults and kids at their own separate but very close tables).
We didn't take a lot of photos but everyone had a good time.
